The QBSA is proud to announce that the Queensland Open Billiards Championship will be a World Billiards Ranking Event. The tournament has attracted international attention and we will have the current world #1 Peter Gilchrist in attendance.
In preparation for the event, our current State Billiards Champion Robbie Chilcott has generously offered to run some billiards workshops for anyone interested in learning more about the game or wanting to improve their skills before they compete in the Queensland Open Billiards. Details for the workshops will be provided in due course.
We are also in discussions with Peter Gilchrist around the possibility of a billiards skills workshop for the Juniors, which may be extended to adults as well depending on numbers.
Details for the tournament are being finalised and will be published as soon as they are available.
